profile evaluation please

Hi,

I have a 3.7 gpa from a target (non-ivey) school and have two years of work experience at a top boutique investment bank (M&A). 750 GMAT. I have held many leadership positions during college in a fraternity and several clubs. What are my chances of getting into HBS?

Hello,

From the info you’ve provided, I’d say probably you have a shot at HBS, but there are important factors that aren’t addressed.

First, do you have very strong leadership and performance at work (compared to other highly accomplished peers), and can you demonstrate a “fast track” career with high impact?

Second, do you have strong extracurricular involvement, including leadership, after college?

If you can answer “yes” to all the above questions, then my “probably” will also become a “yes” to your question.
