Arocks, I take the following approach -p(x), q(x) are the quadratic functions. What is the set of the real numbers for which p(x)/q(x) is an integer?
1). p(2) = 0, p(3) = 0
2). q(0) = 0, q(1) = 0
p(x) = ax^2 + bx + c
q(x) = mx^2 + nx + d
If p(0) = c = 0 and q(1) = m + n + d = 1
If p(2) = 4a + 2b = 0 and q(3) = 9m + 3n + d = 0
Though for p we are able to draw some conclusion, for q we are nor able to draw any conclusion.
So E is the best option to chose.
Guys what do u say?
