This is a little diff to make you understand without drawing and not actually a monet's sitting at this side of the terminal :P

let angle RSQ = z
angle TSU = y

so we have given x+y+z = 180

stmt 1 says

RSQ=SQR=z

hence angle SQP = 180 -z

we know for the quadrilateral SQPU

angle SQP + angle SUP +x = 270

too many unknowns not suff

from two we derive angle SUP = 180 -y again alone not suff

together we have

x+y+z =180

and 180 -z + 180 -y +x = 270

enuf to find only x.
