Well, the best way is to understand that the series is 1/2 - 1/4 + 1/8 - 1/16...

The sum of this series will range between 1/2 and 1/4

I tried using the formula Average = Sum of integers/Number of integers but I got A as the answer for that. I guess the above way is suitable only for consecutive integers and not a series specifically.
