Hi,

I have a unique problem -

I have good academic record, extra curricular etc....The problem is that i am pursuing my Chartered Accountancy course under which it is mandatory to do 3 years internship - which i have completed with a Big Four.

I wanted to do an MBA, but for lack of experience ( i have just done 3 years of internship - not considered as work exp) cannot apply for it...

Then i decided to do Mim/ MSC in Mgt / MMS etc - but now am told that since i have completed full time internship post graduation for 3 years am ineligible to even apply for such courses( since they are aimed for recent graduates).

What do i do????

Is there any good college i can still apply to.

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Thanks!!!

hefgkjl,

We can't say that we're experts in the Chartered Accountant designation -- however, we're pretty confident that most business schools will consider your three-year internship as work experience for the purpose of your application. It sounds like you might be a very well qualified candidate for an MBA program this year!

If you want to provide more details of your profile or if you have other questions, let us know.

Hope this helps!

hefgkjl,

Is the internship a full time job, meaning do you spend at least 40 hours or so a week in this capacity?
