Hi,

Thanks for your post. Given the information you've shared, I think you biggest hurdle is going to be the business management degree you are currently seeking. Adcoms may question why you choose to get a second bachelors degree in business rather than going straight to an MBA program while utilizing your years of experience and skills from your previous undergraduate degree. Essentially, you don't want an adcom to think that you are a degree collector, but rather that you have thought out your plan and that there is a solid and valid reason for the decision to seek out a second degree in business.

Your work experience really sounds quite unique and provided you can clearly articulate your goals (both short and long term) you will likely have a great story to tell. This could certainly boost the appeal of your candidacy.

In regard to the GMAT, you'll want to score a minimum of 700 - it's also important for you to score above 70% in both the verbal and quant areas since you are not a native English speaker. Lastly, your AWA score should be a minimum of 4.5.

Best,

Stacey

Thanks for the additional information and clarification. I now understand the reason you are seeking your current degree. There are two things I think you can do to improve your candidacy 1. Keep working on your English 2. Get a great score on the GMAT. If you can do these two things you can certainly be competitive for admission at the schools on your list.

Best,
