Is x – y < 2?

Is x - y < 2?

[1] 2^x = 24 and 2^y = 6.

[2] x > y.

Statement 1 :
We cane find the value of x and y, hence Sufficient

Statement 2 :
Not sufficient, as x-y can be less than 2 or equal or greater than 2.

Hence, A

2^x/2^y = 24/6 = 4 = 2^2
=> x-y = 2.
