Coordinate Question-2nd Edition - OG

by shanice » Thu Jul 19, 2012 10:47 pm
In the xy-plane, point (r,s) lies on a cirle with center at the origin. What is the value of r^2+s^2?

(1)The circle has radius 2.
(2)The point (square root 2, -square root 2)lies on the circle?

Answer is D - Each statement alone is sufficient.

I understand both statements but I would like to know the drawing for point (r,s) that lies on a circle with center at the origin. I just want to get a clear picture of it and know whether it is similar with mine. I don't know whether it's too much to ask but I've got no one to ask for help except from "Beat the Gmat' team.

Thank you in advance.
