Never thought this day would come. Started the GMAT journey same time last year. But then lost track and restarted in the middle of June. In my opinion, GMAT is all about handling pressure on the d-day. The first couple of minutes in my quant, I literally blacked out. For those of you who practice tests on a laptop, get a test run with a desktop - keep the monitor as close as possible.
Key Materials Used:
GMATPrep
OG 12
Kaplan Online Tests
Manhattan for SC
CR Bible
Manhattan Notes for Integers
Keep it Simple:
Don't spend more than 4-6 weeks in serious preparation. OG 12 rules. Kaplan online tests are a pretty good indicator of where you stand. Read CR Bible once and repeat Manhattan SC as many times as feasible. Spend the day before the exam on AWA.
Don't waste your time on too many practice questions. Identify your mistakes and try not to repeat them.
My only regret is that, had I not freaked out at the beginning of the test, I could have scored a 50 in quant. Anyway cannot complain about a 750 score.
Can someone please suggest which colleges I can target with this score. Ironically I already have an MBA (but I was 19 years when I decided to do it) and have about 11 years of experience (5 years international). Not sure where I stand a decent chance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Bah
