Hi,I am filling out my essays and am wondering whether to take advantage of the optional essays. One (unc) asks if I would want to defend my quantitative ability if I scored low on the quant gmat sect. The other is the anything to tell the adcom. I've been using the generic optional essay to defend my low gpa (high quant grades, improved work ethic)2.96 but amd wondering if I should defend my quant or do both. My quant is lower 44 or 72% while my verbal is higher 44 or 95%. Total being 710. Is 2 defensive essays too much? Should I do one and not the other?
