Hi Amy/ Stacy,
I am an Indian applicant, and had applied to only Indian School of Business, Hyderabad this year for several reasons.
My qualifications are
Work Exp 2.5 yrs at present with a reputed Indian Software Services company
GMAT 720 (48Q, 40V)
BE (IT) 3.02/4
Decent grades in school
Lots of extra curriculars - sports, community service and dance groups. I used to be President Rotaract Club (youth movement of Rotary) at my univ
Several of leadership opportunities at work and outside. I lead a team of 7 people at work.
I had made it to the interview short list for ISB Hyderabad but did not receive the final admission offer.
My company is sending me to the US, the client location, end of this month for about 2-3 years.
It would be great if you could throw some light on the benefits of a part time over a full time MBA or vice versa.
Could you also tell me if a Part time MBA from a top US schools weighs as much as a full time one. Is a part time MBA considered at par with a full time one?
Do career options, salaries, placements etc vary on the type of MBA pursued (part time or full time)
For someone who is looking to move from a technical role to a more strategic one is a part time MBA a good option?
Thank you for yor time. I do hope that you would be able to help me with my queries.
Thanks again
Neha
