Space shuttle

Because of it being damaged, the space shuttle could not reneter the earth's atmosphere: the crew had to make a daring attempt to repair the vessel before they could come home.

A) Because of it being damaged
B) The reasom it was damaged
C) Having it been damaged
D) Because of it having been damaged
E) Because it was damaged

A. eliminating bcz of usage of being
B. We need a dependent sentence to modify space shuttle
C. USAGE OF HAVING IT IS INCORRECT.The perfect participle is always formed by prefixing the word having to the past participle
d.Because of - is a two - word preposition, used before a noun or a pronoun
