Tackling SC questions whose OA is (A)

Hi BTG friends,

One of the main problems I face with SC questions is with questions whose OA is (A). Which means that there is no mistake at all. In SC questions I always tends to believe that there is some mistake in it. Mistakes which I am not able to find because I missed some grammar concept. I am almost sure that, if I get say some 10 SC questions in actual GMAT test of this category, that's the end of it. Does anyone else experience the same ? Is there is any strategy to tackle ?

Hey NSK,

I am not very sure, but let me guess, you might have started working on the SC recently. I was in the same boat when I took off. The best way to overcome your fear is to face it. Please go through all grammar rules and try to build some logic or diagrams around them so that you can recall them as soon as you see them. I was also having the same problem. Once you are confident about the rules, you will be easily able to tackle and find out the errors in the sentence thereby building an ability to pick the answer easily. I am not an expert, but sharing my experiences assuming that it will help. Read through MGMAT SC guide for best rules and results. Practice, Practice, Practice and More Practice...this is the golden mantra. Don't learn it for GMAT, learn it because we did not learn it properly when were supposed to...:P...I am with you in this....

hi HK

Yes I am only half way through PowerScore SC bible to brush up the grammar fundamentals which i have long forgot since school days. Once I finish of that I will grab MGMAT SC guide and go through it. OA (A) trouble wont bother me then I hope.
