HELP PLEASE!!!....MY SCORES ARE DREADFUL

by mayo4rus » Thu Oct 02, 2008 10:30 am
Hi guys i just read the post from the guy freaking out, well i'm freaking out too. I took the GMAT exam about 3 weeks ago after studying for like 3 months and my scores sucked really bad. like really bad. I feel like a retard almost lol. I'm reevaluating and i plan to take the test again in a month. Thing is i feel like i understand the concepts and all but I just bungle things when i get to the actual test or practice test. Before the test my Verbal was in the 33-35 range and my math was in the 26-29 range after concentrating more on the Math, after the exam my scores have switched up i got a 32 on math and a 27 on verbal giving me the same overall score. Any advise on what could be going on? Thanks guys this place is awesome by the way. Failure is not an option!!!

I wouldn't read into your scores flipping too much. The difference in raw score points do not seem that significant, so don't focus too much on that.

In terms of your prep strategy for the next month, check out the GMAT Resource Directory. There is a post listed under the 'GMAT Strategy' area that provides tips on how to prepare for the test in under one month.

Good luck! Please leverage this community during your prep! :)
