A man bought 27 horses at Rs.280 each 9 horses at Rs.320 each and 6 horses at Rs.360 each. find the average price per horse?
Going to do 2 things to make the math more simple. First, divide the horses by 3. You are left with 9, 3 and 2 horses.
Then subtract the 280 from all prices. ( we will add it later)
(9(0) + 3(40) + 2(80))/14
120+160)/14
280/14 = 20
20 + 280 = 300
