Actual Sentence Correction Questions

Hi,

According to many recent GMAT Takers, "SC Questions Type in actual GMAT is not same as SC Questions in OG/GMAT Prep."..one should take care while preparing for SC. As a result, verbal score decreases by 40-60 points. Can some one please let me know how to approach SC.
