that is required after shown. Only D and E remain.

D - as were women that lived - tense error, comparison error; more likely to be using - unidiomatic.

to Use over to be using .............. eliminate A, D,
1st Living should match with 2nd living (not Lived) ............. eliminate C
"Shown that" is the correct idiom ............ eliminate B
