Promotions, retirements, deaths, and other actions approved by the board of directors at its May meeting will be reported in the July 15 issue of the company paper.

A) Promotions, retirements, deaths, and other actions approved by the board of directors at its May meeting will be reported in the July 15 issue of the company paper.
B) Promotions, retirements, and other actions which have been approved by the May meeting of the board of directors along with deaths, will be issued in the July 15 issue of the company paper.
C)To be reported in the July 15 issue of the company paper are the promotions, retirements, deaths, and other actions which were approved at the coard of directors' May meeting.
D)Meeting in May, the promotions, retirements, and other actions approved by the board of directors, including obituaries, wil be reported iin the July 15 issue of the company paper.
E) The July 15 issue of the company paper will report on promotions, retirements, and other actions approved by the board of directors at its My meeting; the paper will also include obituaries.

I firstly chose
A at a glance, but the right answer is
E, because of the meaning issue.
I wanted to share this interesting(?) problem.

Wow that is a tricky question.

It is E because deaths can not be approved by board of directors.

This question made me laugh
E is the only option that doesn't deal with death being approved by the committee or with death being one of the members of the committee.
The more you look, the more you see.

One thing to remember is that after evaluation of all the grammar rules, be sure to analyze if the sentence has logical structure and meaning. Clearly the answer choice is C because deaths cannot be approved by the board at a meeting.
