Well... i see math multiplication , percentage & comparisons....
They might be good for developing mental calculation...
but i think the GMAT has a bit different requirements, which goes beyond the basics...

GMAT does not require quick calculations in its Quant... 2 minutes per problem, unlike CAT which till i remember a few years back was having around 200 questions in 2-3 hours or so...which is less than a minute....

over here the complexity of the problem is focussed on... two three concepts are used in solving one problem and the answer choices are having very many traps!
Thus the fundamental difference of CAT and GMAT
"vertical complexity" in one area per question needing very quick calculations to
"horizontal complexity" in multiple areas per question needing just above average calculations,

would I guess not make this tool that popular with GMAT aspirants!

Firstly a big thanks to all of you who used this tool and a special thanks, to those who have provided me with a feedback (arora007, shashank.ism).

iimcatcbt tool is more like a gym. It currently has say treadmill, stepper would give a specific advantage to your health and a certain muscle group.

However, it is not a replacement for another exercise equipment like a bench-press or dumb-bells, each of which has its own set of general and specific advantages.

iimcatcbt in its current form is focussing on "mental calculation muscle".

This tool would be more beneficial for CAT than GMAT, with the current equipments.

However, my plan is to extend this "gym" and add more machines that would cover the needs of a GMAT body builder !

So guys, I am thinking on my own, but if you could suggest what kind equipments you would like, I would surely love to have it built.

International non-native english speakers these days take more GMAT tests than those who speak US English as their first language.

Build one component of the tool
on the lines of
https://freerice.com/index.php?&t=388215 ... %20Grammar

purely testing Sentence correction grammar rules , idioms etc. I guess a good starting point could be Sahil's notes and other grammar resources available on BTG for free.

Another area is speed reading for RCs.

If you address these two areas also, your GYM will be a hit! you will remember me for these words!
