Hmm,


D = root of [(x2-x1)^2 + (y2-y1)^2]

= root of[(c-a)^2 + (d-b)^2]

= root of [ (-3)^2 + (-4)^2 ]
= root of [ 9 + 16 ]
= 25


hence 1 and 2 are required

ANS is D.

Please correct me if i am wrong.

If both statements 1 & 2 are required to solve, then you mean to choose "C". Not "D".

Distance is always +ve. So the distance is 5.
