Need help tacking SC BEAST

by hoga » Thu Oct 20, 2011 7:23 am
I am preparing for GMAT for last two months and have improved in quant and to some extent in critical reasoning.

But I have huge problem with sentence correction. I have done Princeton book on SC, read online articles from beatthegmat site on SC rules. Right now doing Manhattan course.
But it looks like no matter what I do, my score on sentence correction does not improve. On an average, if I do 10 questions in official GMAT I get only 4 correct.

I am not sure if there is some core point I am missing, or there is some thing else one should do before getting straight to 7-10 rules of SC.

My scores in SC is really upsetting me. Please help.

To get over with SC, go the brute force way. Practice hundreds of SC and when you hit around 200 or them, start to see the wrong answers. This works amazingly. Do it everyday. Without fail.

Before that practice Manhattan for SC and the Aristotle SC Grail and memorize the basics.
