PRINCESTONE-SUM OF Q AND R

by pradeepkaushal9518 » Sun Jul 04, 2010 4:31 am
If q > r, what is the sum of q and r ?

(1) q is 50 more than r.

(2) r is the value of q.

Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (2) alone is not sufficient.

Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (1) alone is not sufficient.

BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient.

EACH statement ALONE is sufficient.

Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient.

stmt2 mention that r is the value q(ie)r=q

But the question mention q>r.It contradicts the question.

What is the source of this question?
