Hi All,

I know a lot of people ask this question, and several posts already contain a few good suggestions. However, I'm looking for a book that best serves MY purpose.

I'm taking the GMAT in about 50 days time. From the mock tests I have taken, I only manage to get 50% of questions right(On the QUANT section)

So the following is my requirement:-

1. A book that covers ALL the concepts tested on the GMAT.
2. A book that contains a wide variety of questions for EACH topic.

Im torn between Kaplan GMAT Math Workbook-6th Edition and Kaplan Math Power (Power Series).

IF there are any other books that are better than those listed above, PLEASE let me know of them.

Thanks in advance.

MGMAT guides are the best to start(from concept point of view).

However if you are looking at solutions/strategies try Total GMAT Math n other GMAT HACKS books by Jeff Sackmann.
Also you can learn a lot from experts' solutions in Beatthegmat

I like Manhattan and Sackmann as well. Lately have been teaching from GMAT Prepster book though...

Unfortunately, a book that satisfies both of your conditions, doesn't exist.

For conceptual explanation, I like best the Manhattan GMAT guides. They have only warm up problems though.

For books with problems: Princeton Review 1037 Problems in GMAT; Quantitative review; Official Guide. You won't be able to solve more problems than that in 50 days. The Princeton Review book has some typos (like every 15th problem) but in general the problems are the closest to the official style problems of all prep companies I know. If you need more problems, get the Princeton Review 1014 problems for GRE.

For CAT tests: Manhattan GMAT (you get 6 month access to those if you buy one of their guides, Kindle versions are just $10); GMAT Club tests; GMAT Focus; GMAT Prep

I don't know that book. Could you tell me what level of quant it covers and how detailed it is compared to the MGMAT guides? Does it contain problems from lowest to highest level, similar in style to the official problems?

I believe you actually get 12 month access to the Manhattan CATs if you buy one of their guides.
