What's the average time it takes someone to get to a 700? I'm just starting my studies now, thinking if I do 8-10 hrs a week for 3-4 months I should be fine. I'm applying for '12, not '11, so it's not a huge rush or pressure.

Just want to get a good score and do it right. Bought the entire 8 packet of Manhattan GMAT and two of the Princenton Reviews, one verbal and one quant.

Thanks

This is a very immatured question. It really depends on the individual. I have seen people study for just a week or two and get 700+. I have also seen people who have taken GMAT 3 to 4 times and spending nearly 2 years to get to 700+.

Did you take any diagnostic test? You may take GMATPrep from mba.com or from OG 12 and see where you stand.

And yes, don't forget to include OG 12 in your list. Also include OG quant review and verbal review 2nd edition if needed.
