The correct Answer is B.

The lower limit of the range is the possible min mileage over the possible max gallon (95/10.5).

The upper limit is the possible max mileage over possible min gallon ( 105/9.5).

Let the distance be x

Rounding off to the nearest tenth, we get 95 <= x <= 105

Let the amount of gasoline be y

Rounding off to the nearest gallon, we get 9.5 <= y <= 10.5

The above is the key to the question, once you understand the rounding off part, the rest is easy enough.

As limestone said, lower limit of range is minimum distance travelled / max fuel used = 95/10.5 and maximum value is maximum distance travelled / minimum fuel used = 105/9.5
