Stmt I: 1/3 is in S. .that would mean 3 is in S. This is based upon the first axiom. so Sufficient.
Stmt II: 1 is in S, implies 1/1 is in S too.. i.e. 1. this would imply 1+1 = 2 is in S too.. Since 1 and 2 are in S, therefore 3 is in S too.
