GMAT Problem Solving

by GMATPREP22 » Thu Dec 16, 2010 7:32 pm
Hi there,

I am preparing for GMAT. the thing i am concerned most is syllabus. for example we have to study geometry, in geometry we study Quadrilaterals and polygons, my question is ....

under Quadrilaterals do we have to study kite???, in every gmat resources,, subsection of syllabus varies and i dont know exactly what i need to study. I want to save time by reading only necessary things. i think this saves time and energy for all of us.

for example in triangles is it necessary to study sine formula. cosine formula??? i am not able to draw a line ---exactly where i need to stop studying. is there any official website which talks about this. or any other genuine source?? i did internet search for about hours for 1 week. i couldn't get. in fact i am more confused.

in simple words : I need your valuable inputs about subsection of GMAT syllabus.....

thank you ..........................

Your best bet for an official list of topics is to read the Official Guide's math content review.

I can tell you that you don't need to study trigonometry. I can't promise with 100% certainty that you wouldn't see a kite shape -- you might. Not super likely, but not impossible.
