INTERVIEW TIPS FOR LBS

Hi guys,

I just received positive news from LBS, as I was invited to the interview!

At this point, I'm trying to know as much as possible on the interview processes at LBS, which questions should I expect, if there are any "common traps" and what they require for the presentation.

My profile:

- 1 year consulting
- just started working in a P/E firm

Total of 3 years experience at the beginning of the MBA

- Not strong GMAT (650 against average 694 of LBS). Actually done twice, both 650

Very strong TOEFL, many international experiences. Overall a strong profile.

A brief background about yourself.

I graduated from LBS in 2009, having previously worked in industry for ten years in a range of roles from operations to sales and business development. I currently work as an Investment Manager in a mid market private equity firm in London.

How has been your experience at LBS? Has LBS met all your career and personal aspirations? What do you like the most at LBS?
LBS is a fantastic institution. I met some amazing people, learned an enormous amount and made a step change in my career that simply wouldn't have been possible without it. The breadth of experience available within each class at LBS is staggering: no matter what the topic, someone will have a personal experience to bring the principles to life.
