Question stem tells us "COMBINED"

So:

Defected/Total# = 2+5+6+4/(5+12+18+16)x1000 = 17 / 51000 = 1/3000

So there will be one defected chip per 3000 chips

Since we have 60,000 ---> 20

combining s1 s2 s3 s4...total defective chips =17
total chips -51000
ratio - 1/3000
So, if out of
3000 chips 1 is defective
out of 60000 = 60,000/3,000 = 20
