I am a young Canadian female with minimal work experience looking for a career change. I have a 4 year Bachelors of Science degree (Biochemistry), Masters of Science degree (Biomedical Sciences) and a Graduate Diploma (Scientific Methodology) from a Canadian University. My academic record is strong with GPA 3.9 in the final year my undergraduate degree and 3.93 GPA from my Masters program. I will be writing the GMAT soon. I am looking at applying to programs in Canada (mostly) and the US (although I am not sure of my chances at admissions to an American school due to lack of traditional work experience - I would love to get some feedback on that). Are there any specific schools I should look into?
Thus far, I have been searching through the entrance scholarships and other ones that are specific to schools that I may be applying to. Since an MBA is a great financial commitment, I would like to know about other scholarships that may be available. Some guidance on where I should start with my search would be appreciated. Are there any scholarships available for women in business? or other merit based ones?
