Hi Amy, you mentioned in another thread about distinguishing oneself from the typical 'Indian IT' profile. According to you, what are some conrete examples whereby Indian IT guys have done so to secure admissions in top10/Ivy league schools?
Does having an MS (not just BS) would be of any help? How about 6-7 years of work ex? Does age make a difference? 28 is preferreable to 30 and 25 preferrable to 28? What about personal issues? Anything concrete that the top 10 schools consider to be 'unique' that sets you apart from your experience would be of immense help.
Thanks a lot for answering these (and many other) questions. You guys are terrific.
