Jamieson's Proposal

by sk8ternite » Mon Jul 06, 2009 12:43 pm
Jamieson's proposal was rejected for several reasons, the chief among which was cost.
(a) same
(b) among which the chief was its cost
(c) the main one was cost
(d) the chief reason of which was its cost
(e) the chief of which was cost

I found this question in Sahil's notes and it did not provide an answer.
I believe the answer is a. Thoughts?

Answer should be E.
Sahil said that when a sentence refers to a member of a group it should use of. So a,b and c out. d) redundant as it repeats reason
