D and E are both correct because the GMAT ignores the traditional distinction between compared to/with.

So this question is no good.

BTW: OA E because "compared with" emphasizes differences

to those who are ....awakard

with children who are compares parents with children

with compares children with native E speakers

to those whose parents are those can refer to parents or children

with children whose parents are....seems correct compared with is used to compare two dissimilar things...native speaker parents and non native speaker parents...

I would lean towards (D).

compared....to is correct. You always use compared to to refer to similarities and compared with to refer to differences.

parents is closer to "those".
