algebra help

studying the manhattan guides i see an answer explanation where they jump from:

dq+dr=rqt

to

q(d-rt)=-dt

what are the intermediate steps taken to do this?

dq+dr=rqt

send rqt to left side and bring dr to the right side.

dq - rqt = -dr

take q out as it is common.

q(d - rt) = -dr
