No of triangles possible = 6C3 = 20

No of Isosceles triangle possible = 6 because you'll have to have the adjacent sides of equal length. that's only possible if two adjacent sides of the hexagon form the the two equal sides of the isosceles triangle..

so probability = 6/20 = 3/10

Answer = 3/10

had to sketch to get the picture :(
total triangles that can be formed from a hexagon: 6C3=20
isoscles triangles can be formed when three adjacent vertices say A, B, C are taken and AC joined by a sttaight line. we get 6 of those triangles in a star formation

so 6/20=3/10
hence, A
