B is clearly the answer in that when you draw a table,for example the Seasons in the row section and the sports in the column section, it becomes evident, going down the list of answer choices that there could be an overlap, from one sport to another , of athletes and the key word in the conclusion is different

Out of curiosity, is this an LSAT question?

Note the conclusion: "Therefore, adding these figures, we find that our team sports program serves 250 different individual athletes"

Now note the question stem: "In drawing the conclusion above, the athletic director fails to consider the relevant possibility that"

A. Is not correct since the stimulus states that athletes do not overlap teams during a season
B. Is clearly the answer because the conclusion holds that the program serves 250 different athletes without considering overlap among teams over different seasons
C. This doesn't affect the 250 number
D. Still doesn't affect the 250 number
E. No relevance

Hope it is clearer.

Yeah its B. The passage states that they cannot be in two sports that coincide the same season, but doesn't consider one can be in a sport during the fall and during the spring (clearly those seasons are 3 months apart).
