Dear,

I like to know what is my chance of getting into one of the below MBA
USC, UCLA, UCB

I have a GMAT of 740, 97 percentile on verbal and 84 percentile on math. Also, only score a 4 on AWA.

I had a 3.4 GPA, I graduated in UCSD with a BA in Mathematics/ Economics.

I worked as a finance/business analyst in one of a small tech firm in bay area for 1 and a half year. I started my own business (a retail store) May June.

I am also taking CFA level 1 the coming December.

What are my chances?
Do you think USC is a good safety school base on my qualification?
Will I at least get an interview on these B school?
How will owning my own business affect me? it is a start-up.

Thanks for taking time to answer these questions, I appreciate that!

You have strong profile. Your GMAT score and International experience are definitely assets. There are many qualified individuals applying to b-school now so be sure to highlight your unique background and interests. Also, your entrepreneurial experience can be a plus if you can demonstrate what you learned from it and also how it relates to your goals. You should qualify for an interview - just be sure to write strong essays and get LORs from people who can write in detail about your experience and goals.
