Hi,

I am new to the discussion forum. I am planning to give GMAT examination.

Can you please help me with below queries:

1) Good GMAT score to get into top 10 schools

2) Is Official Guide - 13th edition enough to get a decent score in GMAT ?

3) I am a working professional with 2 years of experience. What is the ideal experience B-Schools seek

4) Apart from GMAT score what traits Personal/Professional does B-School look for in candidates.

Thanks much in advance.

Scoring 700+ score is always better as it strengthens your chances of getting into a good MBA program.

There are a plenty of books. You can look at detailed GMAT strategy here: www.ivyctor.com/Download/Ivyctor_GMAT_Strategy.pdf

More than quantity Bschools look for quality of work experience. 3+ years is good to go.

4) Apart from GMAT score what traits Personal/Professional does B-School look for in candidates.

Professional achievements, leadership skills, team building skills, consistent extra curricular, impact-ful social work are some other attributes through which you can prove your worth to schools

Thanks much in advance.
