Fox hunting, though it is outlawed in England, it continues overseas and is able to be reintroduced with the election of a new political party.

(A) Fox hunting, though it is outlawed in England, it continues overseas and is able to be
(B) Fox hunting, though outlawed in England, it still continues overseas and can be
(C) Though still continuing overseas, fox hunting has been outlawed in England and could be your answer
(D) Though having been outlawed in England, fox hunting still continues overseas and is capable of being
(E) Though outlawed in England, fox hunting continues overseas and could be correct
how would you choose between C and E?

I agree with paes, still continuing is redundant.
And looked at in the context of the sentence,

part1-Fox hunting continues overseas.
part2-Fox hunting is outlawed in England.
part3-Fox hunting could be brought in by the new party.

"Though" introduces contrast.
part2 is in contrast with parts 1 and 3. This is rightly represented in option E.


Please correct me if I'm wrong

And overall, C changes the intended meaning of the sentence.

Hi San,
First, when you post please present the entire question properly. Second, keep the surprise element (answer choice C/E) for the users atleast until the readers complete reading the question. People come here to learn and it is not much of a help for them when they go reading the question with preconceptions in their minds. hope you take it in the right sense.

Logical relation in C is reverse.
"is capable of being" in D is wordy.

I want to add a rule that i learnt yesterday in addition to the ones stated by others.
In the given statement, it is given that Fox hunting is already outlawed in England. Which means it is simple past. But in the answer choice C, "has been outlawed in England" means that the fox hunting is recently outlawed in England. which is Past Participle form. This is wrong usage.

Please let me know if my approach is right, as i am new to SC solving.
