Hi All,
Can someone please tell which scenario will likely to yield more marks in GMAT Verbal if faced with time crunch in Verbal part....
Scenario 1
========
doing first 23-24 questions with say 80-85% accuracy.
Then skipping the two pessages....i.e. say (Q25-28) and (say 35-37) i.e. total 7 questions...and doing rest CR and SC questions...again with say 80-85% accuracy.
Thus say total approx. 28 questions correct...(out of say 34 attempted) but it involves in between questions to be skipped....which I suppose will be of higher weightage then later questions...since one will be guessing on intermediate RC questions...so later questions diffculty level will drop.
Scenario 2
========
doing first 30 questions with say 80-85% accuracy....in case we decide to attempt the 3rd RC....
Then skipping/random guessing on last 10-11 questions....
Thus say total approx. 25 questions correct...(out of say 30 attempted) but it involves first 30 questions which I guess are of higher weightage...since one will be attempting the first 30...with no random guesses....
Kindly share your thoughts....for me RC is really a bottleneck for completing my Verbal paper....
Your thoughts will help shape my strategy to attack the verbal paper....
Thanks
