IMO, the correct sentence should be

Though once powerful political forces, labor unions have lost much of their influence, resulting in a political climate that some analysts claim favors management.

The sentence in question can be simplified as follows:

1)Though once powerful political forces, labor unions have lost much of their influence
2)which has resulted in a political climate
3)that some analysts claim to favor management

The intent of the sentence is as follows:

the loss of influence of labor unions has resulted in a political climate that favors management.

This implies the following:
which in 2) refers to the action of labor unions losing their influence.
that in 3) refers to political climate in 2)
to favor in 3) refers to the political climate in 2)

The above is best represented by choice B.

I believe "CLAIM" is a verb.

I believe "CLAIM" is a verb.

to be in favor of is wordier than favors

Both these sentence convey the same meaning but option B is succinct.

IMO

we need singular "Favors" as political climate is singular ..

Your thoughts ?

influence cannot result in a politcialclimate...there is a cause effect..so resulting should be used ---THIS IS OUT

(b)resulting in a political climate that some analysts claim favors

(c)which has resulted in a political climate that some analysts claim that favors
influence cannot result in a politcialclimate...there is a cause effect..so resulting should be used ---THIS IS OUT

(d)resulting in a political climate that some analysts claim to be in favor of ----> TOUGH ONE TO THROW OUT VS B
Between B and D. The decision is to be made either for analysts claim favors vs analysts claim to be in favor of ....
.Favor is a verb which is parallel to lost and resulted..

(e)which has resulted in a political climate that has been claimed by some analysts to favor
influence cannot result in a politcialclimate...there is a cause effect..so resulting should be used ---THIS IS OUT
