pronoun error

"The company was forced to cut staff so that it could avoid going out of business entirely."

In the above sentence is "it" is ambiguous or not?
I'm no expert, just trying to work on my skills. If I've made any mistakes please bear with me.

Yes ,Of course.See here it can either refer to staff or company, however intended meaning
of it is to refer to company. So , yes "it" is ambiguous here.
