There are no stupid questions. :)

If you apply round 1 in the fall of 2008, your classes would start fall of 2009--just like Johny said. I think most schools start August or September.

Hey Eric,

Thanks for the encouragement.

I hope you believe what I say but, you give me a lot of encouragement, having someone to guide you through a difficult journey, makes things so much easier believe you, me. ;)

I wanted to ask you another thing,
I just quit my job as an IT engineer here in bangalore(now known as bengalooru, which I think su*ks) so I have joined an NGO full time as I have stated earlier.
Do you think it is a bad move ? It is primarily because I wanted a more challenging job with more responsibilities. I am afraid I will not be able to explain the reason convincingly enough, to the adcom. Am I being paranoid yet again ?

I think your NGO experience is great! It's certainly unique, and as you said you wanted something more challenging--I think b-school committees would eat that up.

So yes, I think you're being a bit paranoid about your work experience. :) You should instead be selling this unique background hard!
