hey,

i did a bs/ms dual degree in electrical engineering with a cumulative gpa of 3.4. my target gmat score is 700+. im taking it on the 16th of march. my extracurricular activity is pretty good as well. do u think i could get admitted to the Stern part time program? i was also thinking about contacting stacy blackman for one of the comprehensive packages regarding my Stern application. all these things factored in, do u think i have a good chance?

Dear rockgthegmat11,

It's possible. Admissions is more than a GPA and GMAT score; decisions are based on those things plus many other aspects of your application. What makes the difference for any candidate is how well you put together your entire application package--why do you want your MBA, why now, why Stern, and how does your background plus a MBA fit into your career goals? You have to present a strong rationale for getting a MBA and a compelling case to offer you a seat over the competition.

Good luck,
Lisa
