(1) n + 2 is an even integer.
(2) n -1 is an odd integer.

How will i know which statement is sufficient?

OA D
Note that (n -1), n, (n + 1), and (n + 2) are consecutive integers.

Case 1: If (n - 1) is even, then n is odd, (n + 1) is even and (n + 2) is odd.
Case 2: If (n - 1) is odd, then n is even, (n + 1) is odd and (n + 2) is even.

Since we are given that (n + 1) is odd, Case 2 is applicable. Thus, each statement itself is sufficient.

The correct answer: D

Hope this helps!
