Now, 10 must not do for PS

1.Assuming the given figure to be drawn to scale and the figures drawn represent standard figures unless specified. i.e. a four sided figure should not be assumed as a square even though by looks it's a square.

2.Considering that in a problem if three or more points are given together they are collinear unless specified.
i.e. If A is 2 miles from B and 3 miles from C then the three points need not be in linear A- B- C order, they can be spatially arranged in any form

3. Solving an inequality based sum without checking its consistency with a number line. Determine the range of numbers that satisfy the inequality

4.Making assumption on relative positions of objects while arranging objects. i.e. If A & C is to the left of B, then the arrangement can be A..C..B or C...A....B

5.Substituting the number 100 always for the unknown variable in problems which can be solved by substitution, substitute a number which is a multiple or a factor of the other numbers present in the problem.

6.Attacking complex problems as one single entity. Break the problem into smaller parts and analyze each segment

7.Rereading a problem. Translate the problem or part of it into equation, diagram....

8.Computing, say speed of two moving objects together. For ease, make object1 stationary and analyze the motion of object2, and vice versa

9.Ignoring option cues such as units, parameters, approx values.

10.Desisting from manipulating the data i.e. draw extra lines in a figure,change the orientation of the figure,represent the diagram
