What is the value of x ?

What is the value of x?
(1) x^2 + y^2 = 25
(2) xy = 12

OA is C

Even using both statements we could have that x = 3 and y = 4, x = 4 and y = 3, x = -4 and y = -3 or x = -3 and y = -4. The answer is E.

just put the value of y in x and solve it
it's ans will be -3 and -4
