Hello,

I'm planning to apply to Hofstra University Full time day MBA program for Fall 2011.
My profile is GMAT 640, GPA 3.7. Major MIS.
Is there anybody here go to Hofstra and have any idea about my chances of getting scholarship to the MBA program?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I've talked directly to the guy who's in charge of scholarships. They're still in the process of determining the available funding for this Fall. They're looking for GMAT 630 and GPA 3.2 so I think you should at least get something.

My profile is GMAT 640 and 3.7 GPA. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Best of luck to you too.

Students have the responsibility to plan ahead, anticipate costs, budget resources and request aid for the academic period. Anticipated costs include not only tuition and fees but a reasonable estimate for books and supplies, transportation, room and board when applicable and personal expenses. Hofstra awards financial assistance to 70 percent of its students in the form of fellowships, scholarships, grants, loans and employment opportunities. Fellowships and scholarships are applied to tuition and awarded to qualified full-and part-time graduate students based on academic excellence and/or demonstrated need.

I'm not blaming or criticizing the financial assistance from Hofstra. All assistance is valuable and respected.
All I'm saying is I wouldn't be able to attend the program with such amount so I'm passing it :D
