i am latika from india & m in B.Tech final year, and i want to pursue my post graduation from usa.
so,,i wanted to know whether any work experience is required for taking the gmat? or is it certain colleges which prefer to see work-ex in the candidate's profile?
is there amy concept of spring and fall semester in gmat as is in gre and which of the two semesters increases the chances of getting a seat in a b-school?
& how many years of job exp. is actually needed(full time or
part time)?i have a part-time work ex. of 2 yrs, will it be ok for an admission?
well i m yet to decide on shall i directly go for the gmat this year and secure my seat and then go for a full-time job experience?
or shall i grab the job first & then appear in exam?
or shall i try for an M.S by appearing in the GRE ?
i mean which one will be easier and more beneficial for grabbing a well
salaried job for my profile.
please guide me thru all these wide options.
details-
10th--74.8%(frm a recognized university)
12th--64.6%(frm a recognized university)
B.Yech--65%(aggregate)
70%(as per university calculations based on diff. semesters)from a private college not a very good one.
thank u
