by kcpeng84 » Sat Apr 10, 2010 10:25 pm
Hi everyone,

I just started study verbal section of the GMAT. Right now the only booklet I have is the GMAT Official Guide 11th edition. and i am thinking about buying another book specifically target the verbal section
Can anyone recommend to me which book should i buy.

Here are the choices,
1. The Official Guide for GMAT Verbal Review
2. Kaplan GMAT Verbal Workbook
3. Manhattan GMAT Sentence Correction GMAT Preparation Guide, 4th Edition (a lot of people recommend this book)
4. Other booklets according to recommendations.

Thank You for the help

You can also try the PowerScore CR Bible for CR or the Manhattan GMAT RC book for RC... It ultimately comes down to what you need to brush up on. If you're fairly strong in CR and RC, the Kaplan Verbal Workbook might be enough (or you could replace it with a similar, all-verbal strategy guide such as the PowerScore Verbal Bible; beware though that the latter has considerably fewer questions).
